According to CoinMeta, Jibang Consulting has released a latest research report stating that by 2027, the global output value of AI networks and interconnections ( AI networking & interconnect ) is expected to reach $279.8 billion, with a compound annual growth rate of up to 95%. The report indicates that the market focus will shift from back-end network switches and optical modules to accelerator high-speed interconnections and network cards. It is predicted that by 2027, the contribution of scale-up to the output value of AI networks will increase from 11% in 2024 to 24%. Meanwhile, interconnections within GPU cabinets will still mainly rely on copper cables, while Google's TPU expands cluster scale through ICI optical interconnections.
