National Development and Reform Commission: The challenges of artificial intelligence security need to be addressed jointly by all countries, with collaborative research on security governance standards
2026-11-03 11:12:20
According to CoinMeta, Wang Ruomeng, Deputy Director of the Innovation and High-Tech Development Department of the National Development and Reform Commission, stated that since the beginning of this year, there have been multiple incidents related to artificial intelligence security on a global scale. Not long ago, the large-scale artificial intelligence models developed in our country participated in the handling of an international emergency security incident and achieved good results. He pointed out that artificial intelligence security is not a problem that can be solved by a single company, industry, or country alone; rather, it is a global challenge that requires joint efforts from all nations. Wang Ruomeng advocates for deepening international cooperation in artificial intelligence governance within a multilateral framework, promoting the establishment of global governance rules, strengthening coordination of regulatory frameworks, jointly developing security governance standards, enhancing collaboration in vulnerability reporting, risk warning, and response measures, and improving mutual trust among intelligent systems.
