According to CoinMeta, CrowdStrike announced the acquisition of AI security startups Fiddler and Dreadnode for a total of $495 million. CrowdStrike has signed a final agreement to acquire Fiddler AI, a company that monitors and analyzes the behavior of AI proxies. Additionally, CrowdStrike will also acquire Dreadnode, a firm specializing in stress testing AI systems. The transaction for Fiddler will be primarily paid in cash, with a portion in stock, and must meet certain conditions for ownership. It is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of CrowdStrike, which ends in January. CrowdStrike's CEO, George Kurtz, stated, " Fiddler is like the flight recorder for each proxy." Dreadnode received $14 million in Series A financing in February 2025, with investors including Decibel, In-Q-Tel, and Sands Capital.
