According to CoinMeta, the Nasdaq 100 index officially entered a correction zone on November 2, falling 10.4% from its record high of 31,224.47 points in October to close at 27,989.82 points, a one-day decline of 1.39%. This correction was due to investors continuously selling artificial intelligence stocks, concerned about whether massive technology expenditures would generate sufficient profits. During October, the sale of AI stocks resulted in a loss of over $2 trillion in value for the tech market. Although Intel reported a 78% increase in its data centers and AI division, its stock price plummeted by nearly 29% on October 30. Other semiconductor companies also faced pressure, with Marvell falling by about 12.7%, AMD by 7.5%, and Micron by nearly 5.9%.
