According to CoinMeta, and as reported by GlonHub, Micron Technology's stock repurchase restrictions will expire on December 9th, which is expected to provide support for the stock price that has been under pressure recently. If profits and free cash flow meet expectations, in the fiscal year ending August 2027, Micron's potential repurchase volume could reach $100 billion, which is approximately 10% of its total market value. UBS analyst Tim Arcuri believes that Micron's focus has shifted to the duration of the memory market's upturn, the increase in memory value inferred by AI, and the company's ability to return capital to shareholders. Arcuri estimates that Micron's free cash flow in 2027, 2028, and 2029 could be around $155 billion, $225 billion, and $205 billion, respectively. He calculates that the company may repurchase shares equivalent to about 30% of its outstanding capital over the next two years, and by 2029, the cumulative amount could even approach half.
