According to CoinMeta, U.S. President Donald Trump stated on Wednesday that in the next Congress, he will be able to cooperate with the Democrats, who hold the majority of seats, on "many issues far beyond what people imagine," including "fiscal concepts that are beneficial to both sides." In an interview with CNBC, Trump said, "I cannot cooperate with them on the issue of opening the borders; nor can I cooperate with them on allowing men to participate in women's sports events." When discussing the possibility of removing tariffs, Trump insisted that if tariffs were eliminated, the construction of the 3,000 factories currently under development would have to be halted. Trump has previously stated that he is willing to accept the results of the mid-term elections; however, he claimed that if his name appeared on the ballot, the Republicans would win by a "thumping majority."
