According to CoinMeta, a member of the Bank of Japan mentioned in the minutes of the September meeting that the impact of interest rate hikes on corporate capital expenditure is limited, and almost no companies have reduced their capital spending due to increased borrowing costs. Policymakers believe there is still room for further interest rate increases, which supports market expectations of a hike in December. The member stated that the recent rise in the stock market and the weakening of the yen have actually eased the financial environment faced by companies. Many economists expect that the Bank of Japan's ultimate interest rate will exceed 1.75%.
