According to CoinMeta, Anthropic, a former growth marketing key member led by Austin Lau, has announced his joining of OpenAI and has become a new member of the company. Austin joined Anthropic in 2024 and is the company's fifth marketing employee, as well as the first person to be responsible for growth marketing. During this period, he was in charge of this work alone for nearly 10 months and utilized Claude to build automated tools for ad management and budget monitoring. Austin did not reveal his specific position at OpenAI, but he expressed anticipation for his future work and compared the office benefits between the two companies, stating that "the coffee and drinks at Anthropic are better, and the snacks at OpenAI are better."
