According to CoinMeta, and as reported by the Financial Times, Microsoft has refused to reach a potential new agreement worth several hundred billion dollars with the British AI startup Nscale, which puts its plan to achieve a $35 billion listing target under new scrutiny. Microsoft has refused to more than double the scale of its existing data center leasing contracts, with the related facilities located in Texas, USA. This means that Nscale must find new customers for this data center; otherwise, it may lose billions of dollars in future revenue. Currently, the dissatisfaction caused by the construction of AI data centers across the United States has become one of the reasons why voters refused to support the current Republican candidates in Tuesday's mid-term elections.
