According to CoinMeta, on the 5th local time, Nippon Telecom & Media Corporation (DoCoMo) reported a large-scale communication outage across the country at noon that day, resulting in difficulties in using mobile communication services. The company stated that the outage affected voice calls, data communications, and text messages, and virtual mobile network operators that use its network were also impacted.
