According to CoinMeta, Binance announced that it has revoked all API keys related to the third-party trading platform SignalPlus due to security concerns. This decision was made after a SignalPlus report of potential security issues. Binance founder Zhao Changpeng (CZ) reminded traders using this service to take similar preventive measures on other exchanges as well. Binance stated that its internal systems were not affected, and the safety of customer funds is guaranteed. The exchange advises users not to reconnect their accounts until it is confirmed that the security issues have been completely resolved on SignalPlus. It also recommends enabling an IP whitelist when creating new API connections to limit access. Binance co-founder Yi He also called on third-party platforms connected to Binance to review their security controls, monitor for abnormal activities, and report any issues immediately. This security warning was issued after Binance was attacked on October 29th, an attack that affected approximately $6.34 billion in cryptocurrencies.
