Shengbao Market: Asian markets are particularly vulnerable during the sell-off of artificial intelligence stocks
2026-11-06 11:51:00
According to CoinMeta, Chalu Channana, the chief investment strategist at Shengbao Market, stated that the Asian market was particularly vulnerable during the latest round of sell-offs in artificial intelligence (AI) stocks. This significant correction is partly due to the market's re-evaluation of future infrastructure needs in the United States, and it also reflects the excessive concentration of investors' holdings in stocks that benefit from the AI boom. The South Korean and Taiwan Chinese markets have a more concentrated exposure to the global AI hardware cycle, especially in logic chips and memory chips. Japan, on the other hand, has a larger exposure to this cycle through semiconductor equipment and industrial suppliers. Channana added that the speed and scope of these sell-offs indicate that the market is undergoing a deleveraging process, and there may be forced liquidations.
