According to CoinMeta, the trading department of Indonesia’s state oil company, Pertamina Patra Niaga, plans to purchase approximately 1.4 million barrels of diesel with a sulfur content of 2,500 ppm in November, with delivery dates ranging from November 13 to November 30. The tender documents indicate that the company is seeking to purchase 6 shipments of 200,000 barrels each, as well as 2 shipments of 100,000 barrels each. The delivery destinations include Medan, Toban, Pekan, Tanjung Uban, Wayame, and Rote Island, among others. This tender closed on November 6, and bids were only valid on that day; it also invited only specific suppliers to participate. Last week, Pertamina purchased up to 1.5 million barrels of diesel with a sulfur content of 2,500 ppm to be delivered in November in another tender, with a transaction premium of $10 to $20 per barrel.
