OpenCode Open-source browser control tool: AI takes over the real Chrome, and also adds anti-robot detection design

According to CoinMeta, OpenCode has officially launched an open-source browser control tool called browse, which allows AI and agent to directly operate browsers such as Chrome that users use daily. This tool connects with extensions like Codex, Claude Code, and OpenCode through MCP, eliminating the need to launch the browser separately for each task. It enables reusing existing tabs, login states, and extensions. agent allows users to open their own tabs in the background, and through Playwright, users can perform actions such as clicking, filling out forms, taking screenshots, recording videos, and tracking network requests without affecting their normal browsing experience. When user intervention is required, control is returned to the user. browse also supports cross-device control, allowing agent to operate on users' logged-in Chrome from a remote server without the need to migrate passwords or browser sessions. Developers have incorporated anti-detection mechanisms, using Patchright to reduce automated behaviors that could alert websites to the presence of bots, simulating human mouse movements, typing, and scrolling patterns to lower the likelihood of being identified as a robot. The project has been made open-source according to the MIT protocol.
