According to CoinMeta, Kaiser Wu ( Kaiser Ng ), the financial director of Binance, will be leaving the company to pursue new career opportunities. Wu has worked at Binance for over five years and plans to implement a transition plan over the next six months. His resume shows that he has served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Binance since January 2022, and prior to that, he held the same position at the cryptocurrency exchange Kraken for about five years. He will be replaced by Justin Ye ( Justin Yek ), the former Vice President of Finance at Airwallex. Not long after this announcement was made, Binance suffered a record-breaking hacker attack worth $6.3 billion.
