According to CoinMeta, following the vulnerability identified as Web3Auth, approximately $6.01 million was stolen, and the private keys of some Keplr wallets were exposed. Keplr has temporarily suspended logging in via Google and Apple, indicating that some wallets created using these login methods may have been affected. Wallets created with mnemonic phrases or hardware devices were not impacted. Keplr advises users to transfer any available funds to wallets protected by mnemonic phrases or hardware devices, to avoid sending new funds to the compromised wallets, and to ignore any private messages received. The investigation is still ongoing, and the total amount of losses has not yet been determined.
