Trump urges Netanyahu to advance the Gaza peace plan

According to CoinMeta, as reported by Axios, U.S. President Donald Trump stated during a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday that he hoped Netanyahu would take measures to advance his peace plan for Gaza. The plan calls for the disarming of Hamas, the demilitarization of the Gaza Strip, and the transfer of local governance to a new Palestinian technical bureaucratic government. However, due to elections held in Israel on October 27th, the plan has been on hold for several months. The Trump administration does not wish for the implementation of this plan to become a sensitive issue that could trigger political controversy during Israel's election period. The day after the call, Tony Blair, a member of the Peace Council and former British Prime Minister, visited Israel.
