Elon Musk stated that what he's building feels too absurd and unbelievable.
He likened his own life to a simulation theory, then shifted the focus to how well artificial intelligence aligns with his own predictions:
- Starship is the largest and most powerful spacecraft ever built, planned to launch more than once per hour.
- He said the development of artificial intelligence is almost perfectly in line with his expectations.
- He believes Ray Kurzweil's predictions about the impending singularity are remarkably accurate.

Ray Dalio: Artificial Intelligence Will Change the World, But Related Stocks Could Still Plunge 80%
On July 17, 2026, Ray Dalio stated in an interview with "My First Million" that during a bubble, even the most successful companies could see their stock prices plummet by approximately 80%. He believes that while the emergence of major new technologies is exciting and provides a rationale for investment, promising technologies do not guarantee substantial returns for stocks due to overvaluation and the influx of competitors.
According to his "Bubble Index," the current market level is already at 75% of the extreme levels of 1929 and 2000. Ray Dalio believes that bubble bursts typically occur when investors need to liquidate their wealth, and that tightening monetary policy or the imposition of a wealth tax often triggers this.

🧐Ray Dalio: Bitcoin is more easily monitored by government agencies; prefers gold
Bridgewater Associates founder Ray Dalio stated on the show "The Diary of A CEO" that Bitcoin still only accounts for 1% of his portfolio, with a preference for gold.
"Bitcoin is a currency that cannot be printed, but there are technologies that could potentially harm it, such as quantum computing. And it could be monitored by governments and other agencies, and could be taxed. Digital currencies are similar in some ways. I prefer that; I'm referring to these gold bars in front of me, not Bitcoin."
According to a previous report by Foresight News, citing Cointelegraph, Ray Dalio stated in January 2025 that he held a "small amount" of Bitcoin.

Solana Needs New Momentum: Why I Think It's in a Difficult Position
Solana's core goal, and indeed its entire culture, has always been to create a unified market that operates at the fastest speed, settles trades the fastest, and discovers prices the most promptly.
The problem is that, in the medium to long term, I believe Solana faces challenges in almost every major growth area of cryptocurrency.
Spot Market
Robinhood has begun to erode market share, and Uniswap has successfully regained some as a result. Meanwhile, Solana's liquidity appears to be increasingly fragmented.
While there are proprietary AMMs like BisonFi and Tessera, established exchanges like Raydium and Orca are no longer competitive, and some token charts are abysmal. I know many people were once very optimistic about proprietary AMMs, but even compared to query systems, liquidity-centralized AMMs still account for the vast majority of liquidity, not to mention traditional order books.
Derivatives
This should have been Solana's territory, but Hyperliquid has taken over the entire market.
It's a real shame Drift was hacked, given the significant progress the team had made. Bullet was also expected to be a contender, but I'm not sure about their current situation. Phoenix seems to be the only option right now, but its trading volume is far below that of top exchanges.
In fact, cryptocurrency derivatives trading is currently primarily concentrated on Hype and Lighter.
Solana currently lacks appeal in this area, which is worrying considering the central role derivatives play in its overall trading philosophy.
RWA (Risk-Weighted Assets)
Of the approximately $30 billion in tokenized RWA, only about $1 billion is on Solana, meaning it doesn't even crack the top three.
I think it will be difficult for Solana to pull traditional RWA away from the Ethereum and broader EVM ecosystem. Tokenized stocks, especially derivatives of tokenized stocks, are perhaps the most crucial opportunity for Solana to capitalize on.
But unless Tradexyz makes a major misstep, it's hard to imagine Solana gaining significant market share in the medium term.
Prediction Markets
I think Solana might have an advantage in this area, but as far as I know, there's been no progress at the moment, and all the activity is focused on @Kalshi and @Polymarket.
Launchpad and Memecoins
Even in the Launchpad and memecoin space, @RobinhoodApp boasts a massive user base large enough to eventually crush Solana. In fact, judging by Launchpad trading volume, Solana has already ceded a considerable market share to Robinhood.
Investor Community
From an investor's perspective, the outlook is also uncertain. @multicoin clearly still holds a significant stake in Solana, but @KyleSamani is arguably Solana's most active and powerful advocate. However, as he no longer dominates the company's public relations and investment philosophy as much as before, confidence in Solana seems to have waned.
Multicoin appears to be increasingly aggressive in promoting ZEC, HYPE, and other tokens. This is crucial because Solana has historically benefited from a highly influential crypto fund acting as an external evangelist and think tank.
There are still many investors who align with Solana's philosophy, but it's becoming increasingly unclear who is playing that role and who is building the next major investment around the ecosystem.
In short,
There are still many talented teams in the ecosystem. @Backpack and @armaniferrante are definitely industry leaders. I believe @buffalu__ and the JTX team are building a truly excellent product.
However, @solana seems to have entered a more engineering-oriented phase: improving chain performance, rebuilding parts of the market structure, and finding a new generation of founders.
There are many interesting products with relatively small market shares, but @solana needs a spearhead. A groundbreaking application or vertical that can powerfully bring transaction activity back to the ecosystem.
It may also need a new generation of investors and advocates who can reshape @solana's vision around a grander idea, not just limited to faster block generation times and the success of the previous cycle.
