Data shows that Solana has ranked first among major public chains in terms of capital inflow in RWA over the past 30 days, with a net inflow of $348 million. As tokenized U.S. Treasury bonds and money market products continue to expand, Solana's share in this sector has further increased.
30-day net inflow ranks first
RWA Foundation cited data from rwa.xyz on the X platform, stating that Solana led other networks in terms of RWA net inflow over the past 30 days. Calculated by the RWA metric, such assets are subscribed to, held, and managed through blockchain, allowing investors to participate directly using their wallets or custodial accounts.
In the same statistics, Solana saw a 30-day increase of 11.13%. Ethereum grew by 0.77% during the same period, while Stellar increased by 5.22%. XRP Ledger and Avalanche decreased by 5.51% and 14.06% respectively.
On-chain scale reaches $4.23 billion
The report mentions that on the Solana chain, the total value of RWA has exceeded $4 billion, currently standing at around $4.23 billion. In the past 30 days, the number of holders of these assets has increased by 17.63%, reaching 398,644.
This growth continues the expansion trend of RWA over the past year. As more tokenized government bonds and cash management products enter the blockchain, Solana is becoming one of the important distribution networks for such assets.
U.S. debt products continue to increase
Currently, on the Solana blockchain, multiple tokenized Treasury products have been deployed, including USYC of Circle, BlackRock's BUIDL, VBILL of VanEck, as well as BENJI of Franklin Templeton.
Ondo Finance also operates two products related to U.S. Treasury bonds on Solana: USDY is backed by short-term U.S. Treasury bonds and bank demand deposits, while OUSG provides exposure to short-term U.S. Treasury bonds and is allocated in a larger proportion to the BlackRock BUIDL fund.
Alpenglow Upgrade and synchronization are being advanced simultaneously.
In addition to the RWA business expansion, Solana has also recently been advancing a core upgrade plan named Alpenglow. This plan aims to restructure the existing consensus architecture in order to improve confirmation speed and network responsiveness.
According to public announcements, Alpenglow plans to replace the voting mechanisms of Proof, of, History, as well as the existing Tower BFT. In late August, Solana also conducted its first network-wide governance vote, and a proposal to accelerate the reduction of new SOL issuances barely reached the two-thirds majority threshold at the last moment before the deadline.
