Hedera The ecosystem welcomes a new collaboration targeting the insurance industry. The Insurance Technology Alliance The Institutes RiskStream Collaborative has joined Hedera Council to become a strategic partner. With the implementation of this collaboration, Hedera is further extending its application scenarios to property insurance data management.
Real estate identifiers deployed to Hedera
RiskStream covers more than 30 insurance companies, brokers, and reinsurance institutions. The article states that the direct insurance premiums in the US insurance industry exceeded 1.1 trillion dollars in 2025, which also makes this collaboration a new case for the expansion of Hedera's real business.
According to the current arrangements, RiskStream will integrate the Property Risk and Resilience Portal with Hedera and HashSphere. Commercial and residential properties will receive a persistent public token identifier on Hedera for asset identity recognition.
However, sensitive information such as building structure, usage conditions, protection measures, and risk exposures will not be directly made public on the internet. This data will be processed through a licensed ledger HashSphere to distinguish between publicly accessible asset identifiers and private insurance data.
The project has entered the pilot phase.
This collaboration is not just at the conceptual stage. Reports indicate that the related projects are moving from proof of concept to pilot phases, with participants including insurance companies and brokers, and it is also expected that data providers will be brought in later on.
In terms of application scope, this asset tokenization framework is not limited to real estate. In the future, the same model could potentially be extended to other insurable assets such as automobiles, aerospace, and guarantee insurance.
Market Focus on HBAR Key Positions
However, at present, the project is still in the pilot phase, and there is still some distance to go before it can be deployed on a large scale within the industry. For encryption projects, this means that there is still an issue with the pace of implementation between the announcement of cooperation and the actual adoption.
At the price level, the report mentions that HBAR has previously rebounded from the range of $0.06850 to $0.07699 and is currently trading between the 200-day and 50-day exponential moving averages.

- If it re-crosses the 200-day moving average, the market will focus on the area around $0.12.
- If it falls below the aforementioned range, it may move towards $0.04531.
Overall, this cooperation in the insurance industry has added new implementation scenarios for Hedera, but the subsequent performance of HBAR still depends on whether the price can break through a key level.
