Within the seven days up to September 12th, the market sales of NFT rebounded to 46.78 million US dollars, representing a 6.8% increase from the previous statistical period. However, this growth was not accompanied by an expansion in the range of buyers. On the contrary, both the number of buyer and seller addresses saw a significant decline, while the total number of transactions increased markedly, indicating that this week's transactions were more concentrated among a few active addresses and high-value transfers.

The number of buying and selling addresses has significantly decreased, yet the number of transactions has increased instead.

CryptoSlam Data shows that this week, the number of buyer addresses NFT decreased to 41,959, a decrease of 84.67% compared to the previous week; the number of seller addresses also decreased to 43,247, a reduction of 85.13%. At the same time, the number of transactions recorded on the chain rose to 917,549, an increase of 48.75%.

This means that an increase in sales does not equate to an expansion of market participation. Looking at the address-based data, the number of wallets participating in transactions has clearly decreased, but the frequency of transfers within a single week and some high-value transactions have boosted the total sales amount.

Ethereum still ranks first, while Bitcoin has seen even faster growth.

In terms of public chain distribution, Ethereum remains the network with the highest NFT sales volume, with seven-day sales amounting to 16.83 million US dollars, but this represents a 6.36% decrease from the previous week. Bitcoin ranks second, with sales rising to 9.44 million US dollars, and a weekly increase of 50.12%.

Polygon ranked third with sales of $7.71 million, an increase of 7.73%; BNB Chain amounted to $4.02 million, with a growth of 25.99%; Base was $2.48 million, showing a decrease of 35.34%; Solana reached $2.30 million, with a growth of 32.91%. The top six networks contributed a total of approximately $42.78 million, accounting for the majority of global sales.

It is worth noting that the number of buyer addresses on several major networks has been declining. The number of Ethereum buyer addresses has decreased by 79.37%, Bitcoin by 82.79%, BNB Chain by about 90%, and Base has also decreased by 86.97%. This indicates that the increase in transaction amounts is more due to changes in the transaction structure, rather than a continuous influx of new users.

Polygon's Courtyard ranks first.

In terms of series, Courtyard on Polygon ranked first with sales of 6.67 million US dollars, an increase of 8.46% week-on-week, and a total of 104,404 transactions were completed. This item corresponds to a certificate of ownership for physical collectibles, therefore its high-frequency trading pattern is not exactly the same as that of traditional digital avatars like NFT.

On Ethereum, Argonauts ranks second with sales amounting to 4.36 million US dollars, representing a 109.04% increase from the previous week. However, the number of transactions in this series has decreased by 25.14%, and the number of buyer addresses has also reduced by 21.72%, indicating that the growth in sales is mainly due to an increase in the average transaction amount per deal.

On Bitcoin, $X@ AI BRC -20 NFTs ranks third with sales reaching 2.9 million US dollars, a week-on-week increase of 217.88%, but it was completed by only 9 transactions involving 7 buyer addresses. The largest transaction in this series was approximately 2.1 million US dollars, accounting for about 72% of its weekly turnover.

Another Bitcoin series, $X@ AGI BRC -20 NFTs, ranked fourth with sales of $1.72 million and only 3 transactions. Due to the small sample size, its weekly increase was exaggerated to 7762.30%.

Large Bitcoin transactions dominate this week's rankings.

The top five individual transactions displayed by CryptoSlam all came from Bitcoin, BRC-20. The largest transaction was for $X@AI BRC -20NFT, with a transaction price of approximately 2.096 million US dollars and a settlement amount of 262,326 BTC.

The subsequent transactions came from two series: $X@ AGI and $X@ AI. The first five transactions totaled approximately 4.61 million US dollars, which is close to half of Bitcoin's total sales this week, which was NFT. In other words, the increase in sales volume on the Bitcoin chain, NFT, is largely driven by a few high-value transactions, rather than a simultaneous resurgence in demand for collectibles as a whole.

Solana Mainnet enables 4096-byte transactions: More space, but also brings upgrade pressure on indexers
Solana will enable v1 transaction-related functions on the mainnet Epoch on September 15th at 01:20 UTC. The maximum size of a single transaction will be increased from 1232 bytes to 4096 bytes, which is approximately 3.3 times the original size. The official upgrade page indicates that the activation is expected to occur at this time, and the mainnet status will be marked as activated. The new format provides more space for zero-knowledge proofs, large multi-signatures, batch processing, and some on-chain signature schemes, reducing the need for developers to split a single operation into multiple transactions. The existing legacy and v0 transactions will continue to function, so this is not a hard fork that requires all wallets and applications to switch immediately.

Final Launches Shannon Development Network: An "Adaptive Blockchain" Begins with Restricted Testing
The new public chain Final announced on September 15th that its first major version, Shannon, is already running on the development network. The project positions itself as an “adaptive blockchain network” and showcases a structure composed of a main chain and a transaction chain, with plans to provide core facilities such as derivatives, spot trading, and stablecoins at the protocol layer. What needs to be clarified at this point is that what has been launched is Devnet, not the mature mainnet intended for everyone. The official website states that Shannon will be open to the public “in the near future,” and the current page still provides an application access link; functions such as wallets, bridges, and documentation are also marked as upcoming.

Canadian wholesale sales rose slightly by 0.3% in July: Building materials saw strength, but actual sales decreased by 0.6%
On September 15, Statistics Canada announced that in July 2026, wholesale sales increased by 0.3% month-on-month at current prices, reaching C$91.4 billion. This figure does not include oil, petroleum products, and other hydrocarbons, nor does it include oilseeds and grains. On the surface, there was little change in sales amounts, with growth even observed in the building materials and food sectors; however, when calculated at constant prices, total sales volume decreased by 0.6%. The increase in nominal amounts while the actual quantity decreased indicates that price factors supported the data for that month, and it also serves as a reminder to the market that one positive growth figure alone should not be used to conclude that demand has strengthened.

UK job vacancies drop to 702,000: Employment hasn't stopped abruptly, but corporate recruitment has returned to levels seen a decade ago
The Office for National Statistics in the UK released the latest labor market data on September 15. From June to August 2026, there were an estimated 702,000 job vacancies, which is a decrease of 8,000 from March to May, representing a 1.1% decline. Excluding the pandemic period, the last time there were 702,000 or fewer job vacancies was from August to October 2014, when there were 701,000 vacancies. Meanwhile, the unemployment rate from May to July was estimated at 4.9%, and the employment rate was 75.1%; average regular wages increased by 3.5% year-on-year, while total wages including bonuses grew by 3.9%. These figures indicate a market where recruitment demand remains low and wage growth is slowing down.
