Foreign media analysis suggests that after a rapid rise in August, mainstream crypto assets have entered a phase of differentiation and consolidation. Bitcoin and Ethereum are still fluctuating at high levels, while XRP has maintained a consolidation pattern after breaking through, while Zcash has retained most of its gains amidst intense volatility. The article argues that whether the market will strengthen again in the short term depends on whether several key resistance levels can be effectively broken through.

XRP Facing resistance at $1.45

XRP is currently fluctuating around $1.40, still above the key support range of $1.33 to $1.35. Foreign media believes that this area has attracted buying interest multiple times in September, indicating that sellers have not yet taken complete control of the trend.

The first significant resistance level above is between $1.42 and $1.45. If the daily chart effectively breaks above $1.45, prices may test the $1.50 to $1.55 range again. If $1.33 is lost, market attention will shift to $1.28, and further below that is the $1.20 to $1.25 area.

ZEC Maintains Strength Amid High Volatility

Zcash has rapidly risen from below $500 since August to a high of around $1280 in September, becoming one of the currencies with the most volatile movements recently. The current price is around $1147, and although there is obvious selling pressure at higher levels, it still retains a significant increase overall.

The article suggests that $1,160 to $1,200 represents a short-term resistance zone. If the price manages to break back above $1,200, the market may test the highs of $1,250 to $1,280 again; if it further breaks through $1,280, the price could enter a new upward range.

The first important support level below is between $1,050 and $1,080. If it falls below this range, the psychological barrier of $1,000 and the area around $950 will become the next support levels.

Bitcoin and Ethereum enter a consolidation phase

Bitcoin is currently consolidating around $78,250. Foreign media believes that the range of $76,000 to $77,000 remains a key support level in the short term, as this area has several times supported the price from its decline since early September. To move higher, it needs to break through the $79,000 to $80,000 range, with further resistance at $81,500 to $82,000.

The article points out that although Bitcoin has cooled down since its rapid upward movement in August, its overall structure remains strong. The reason is that the price is still stable above the main moving averages, with the long-term moving average around $73,000.

Ethereum is fluctuating within a narrow range around $2,500, with the current main consolidation zone being between $2,400 and $2,550. The resistance above is concentrated at $2,520 to $2,560; if it breaks through $2,560, the next target could be around $2,660.

Looking below, $2,400 to $2,440 is the current main support level. If this area is lost, the market may revisit the $2,300 level, as well as the support zone of the 2,200 to $2,250 moving average.

Strive CEO: The Binance hack incident has not changed the long-term logic of Bitcoin, but it is still too early to determine whether the market has hit bottom
Strive CEO Matt Cole stated that despite Binance suffering a hacker attack worth approximately $6.3 billion, this has not changed his long-term investment judgment on Bitcoin. He described the incident as more of a "bank robbery" of the exchange's system rather than a failure of the Bitcoin network itself. However, it is still too early to determine whether the market has bottomed out.

CFTC Chairman Says Binance Hacker Attack Indicates That Offshore Exchanges Need US Regulation
Michael Selliger, chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), stated that the $6.4 billion hack incident at Binance “precisely demonstrates” the necessity of the crypto market regulations proposed by the agency this month. He described the attack as being more likely caused by a vulnerability introduced through a laptop rather than a flaw in the blockchain itself; however, Binance later indicated that the investigation had uncovered “more entry points” for the attack.
