Napleton, New Jersey, September 30, 2026 ( GLOBE NEWSWIRE ) – Spectrotel Holding, LLC (“Spectrotel” or “the Company”) today announced that it has completed the merger with AireSpring as previously announced. AireSpring is a company that provides global connectivity, hosting services, and network infrastructure solutions. This transaction brings together two channel-oriented companies, each with complementary capabilities in hosting networks, connectivity, and communications.
Spectrotel's experience in supporting complex, distributed enterprises is now combined with AireSpring's nationwide proprietary fiber optic network, geographically redundant voice infrastructure, and global connectivity capabilities. With these complementary strengths, the merged platform serves corporate, mid-sized market, and small and medium-sized enterprise clients, including organizations with multiple locations and global needs.
With the support of Charlesbank Capital Partners, the newly merged organization continues to receive investment support from Grain Management, while AireSpring founder Lonstein and his family members remain as important minority shareholders.
Spectrotel CEO Ross Artale stated: "The market is shifting from purchasing individual connections and single technology solutions to a more strategic approach – companies now desire a partner who can take responsibility for the performance of their networks and the results they generate. The merger of Spectrotel and AireSpring endows us with scale, network control, global coverage, and professional capabilities to meet these expectations. This combination has accelerated our ability to anticipate issues earlier, reduce customer complexity, and define what the next generation of managed network services should provide for customers and channel partners."
Charlesbank, the Managing Director, stated: "Spectrotel and AireSpring have both won the trust of corporate clients and channel partners by delivering reliable network performance on a large scale. Our investment reflects the results of our years of focused work in this market, as well as our confidence in the growing demand for managed network services. We believe that together, these two companies possess the technology, talent, and scale to bring more value to our customers. We look forward to collaborating with Ross, their management team, and Grain to accelerate this process."
With the merger completed, Spectrotel and AireSpring will continue to move forward as a single entity, integrating networks, teams, and infrastructure to deliver services through a unified platform. Customer and partnership relationships remain at the core of this effort, with a focus on ensuring service continuity while expanding access to the merged organization's product portfolio, professional capabilities, and network strengths.
Leadership and Organizational Structure
The company has established a leadership team of senior executives aimed at integrating the experiences, capabilities, and perspectives of both organizations, and to lead the growth in the next phase. Ross Artale will continue to serve as the Chief Executive Officer; Russ Shipley, who previously held the role of Chief Operating Officer for AireSpring, will take on the position of Chief Operating Officer; Terri Vaccarino, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Products and Marketing for Spectrotel, will become the Chief Marketing Officer. Adam Siskind will continue to hold the role of Chief Financial Officer, Sanjay Patel will continue as Chief Technology Officer, and Gabe Sette will continue as Chief Revenue Officer.
