New York, October 1st / PRNewswire / -- The S&P Dow Jones Index will make the following adjustments to the S&P 500, S& P MidCap 400, and S& P SmallCap 600:
Vylor Inc. ( NYSE : VYLR ) was included in the S&P 500 on October 1st because S&P 500 constituent Corteva Inc. ( NYSE : CTVA ) split off Vylor during trading on that day. Vylor will replace Corteva to enter the S&P 500. Corteva will replace Olin Corp ( NYSE : OLN ) to enter the S&P 500, and Olin will replace Qorvo, Inc ( NASD : QRVO ) to enter the S&P 500. The relevant changes will take effect before the opening on Tuesday, October 6th. S&P 500 constituent Skyworks Solutions Inc. ( NASD : SWKS ) is acquiring Qorvo; this transaction is expected to be completed soon but still depends on the final settlement conditions. Vylor's global industry classification standard ( GICS ) will be changed to Consumer Staples on October 6th. After the split is completed, Corteva will better represent the mid-cap market.
S&P 500 constituents P MidCap and Twilio Inc (from NYSE to TWLO) will replace Warner Bros and Discovery. Inc (from NASD to WBD) will enter the S&P 500, while P SmallCap and Formfactor Inc (from NASD to FORM) will replace Twilio to enter the S&P 500. Additionally, Workiva Inc (from NYSE to WK) will replace Formfactor to enter the S&P 500. These changes will take effect before the opening on Tuesday, October 6th. S&P 500 constituent Paramount Skydance Corp (from NASD to PSKY) is acquiring Warner Bros. This transaction is expected to be completed soon but still depends on the final settlement conditions. After the merger is completed, Paramount Skydance will move its main listing to the New York Stock Exchange.
