Spiko Raises $90 Million to Expand its Tokenized Cash Fund
Spiko announced on October 6th the completion of a $90 million Series B financing round, led by the American venture capital firm New Enterprise Associates.
The investors include Index Ventures, Bpifrance, Speedinvest, Flourish Ventures, White Star Capital, Mirana Ventures, and Wintermute Ventures. The company stated that after this round of financing, its total funding has reached $120 million.
According to Spiko, its fund holds assets amounting to $2.7 billion, with over 10,000 enterprises and individuals as clients, distributed across more than 25 countries. The company's products allow clients to invest cash through its application or through financial platforms that integrate its services.
The company, headquartered in London and Paris, stated that it will use this funds to launch products, enter new markets, and expand its team. Its planned expansion in Europe includes Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, and the Nordic region.
Nous Research raises $90 million to advance the open-source AI
Nous Research announces $90 million in financing, with the database recording this transaction as a Series B round on October 7th, valuing the company at $1.5 billion.
The investors listed by the company include NVIDIA, Microsoft's M12, Samsung, Robot Ventures, Union Square Ventures, Y Combinator, and Menlo Ventures.
Nous was established in 2023, developing open AI models and Hermes Agent software. The company states that users can choose the location for proxy operations and the models to be used, while also retaining project knowledge across different sessions.
Nous indicates that this funding will support the development of its open-source AI. The announcement also mentions Hermes Business, which is about expanding the software to corporate customers. Crypto Fundraising classifies Nous as a decentralized AI infrastructure and Solana ecosystem.
Mecka receives $60 million for robotics infrastructure
Mecka announced on October 7th the completion of a $60 million Series B financing round, led by Sequoia Capital.
New investors include NVIDIA, Microsoft’s M12, Qualcomm Ventures, and Samsung. Existing supporters Kindred, Framework Ventures, and Neo also participated in this round of financing.
The company develops infrastructure for collecting and processing human motion data, which is used to train robots. Mecka indicates that this funding will be used to expand the infrastructure, deepen research efforts, and support the deployment of commercial robots.
Individual investors include DoorDash, co-founder Tony Xu; former Snowflake CEO Frank Slootman; and former Tesla Optimus executive Milan Kovac.

Meanwhile Raises $37.5 Million for Bitcoin Insurance

The insurance company, headquartered in Bermuda, stated that it has signed agreements with 15 brokers covering markets such as Singapore, Hong Kong, the United Arab Emirates, and Switzerland to serve high-net-worth families.
Its BTC Life to Pay products are targeted at customers outside the United States, while the earlier launched BTC to Pay products are aimed at U.S. taxpayers. Meanwhile holds an insurance license issued by the Bermuda Financial Services Commission and values its balance sheet, reserves, and audited financial statements in Bitcoin.
Financing in the range of $10 million to $30 million
- Catalyst completed a $30 million seed round of financing on October 8th, led by Sequoia Capital. Legal advisor Wilson Sonsini stated that Jump Trading, Peak XV, Lux Capital, AntiFund, Coinbase, and Premji Invest also participated in the investment. Catalyst develops AI agents, which can convert written instructions into trading strategies.
- Navra announces the completion of a $19 million Series A financing round, led by Ribbit Capital, with participation from Baseline, DCM, Jump Crypto, and Figure. The company stated that this funds will be used to expand its blockchain integration platform and AI infrastructure, as well as to prepare for a limited launch in late October.
