GFI Software announces that Eloquens ® AI has been directly integrated into GFI KerioConnect ®, providing a AI email assistant for over 30,000 organizations worldwide that use this email and collaboration server.

This news was announced in Prague on ZEBR AI Roadshow Praha in 2026. Eric Vaughan, the CEO of GFI, announced this new feature during the keynote speech at the event. GFI stated that KerioConnect is used by over 30,000 organizations worldwide, and Kerio was initially established in the Czech Republic in 1997.

According to GFI, email assistants like Microsoft 365, Copilot, and Gmail Gemini are mainly designed for organizations that have already migrated their emails to other vendors' cloud services. Many GFI KerioConnect customers, on the other hand, prefer to manage their email services themselves in order to have control over their data, comply with regulations, or reduce costs. Eloquens AI is aimed at providing these customers with AI support without changing this preference.

Eric Vaughan indicates that since the GenAI revolution began, there has been a hidden cost to AI in emails: 'First, you need to migrate your emails to Microsoft or Google.' Tens of thousands of GFI KerioConnect customers have chosen to operate their own email services for reasons of security and privacy, and they should not be penalized for this decision. What we offer now is one of the most advanced AI email assistants on the market – which can be directly deployed on their existing servers.

Email processing begins before you even open it.

GFI states that within a few minutes of the email arriving, Eloquens AI will determine the appropriate handling method. Notifications and newsletters will be moved to a "no reply required" folder; emails that require decision-making will remain in the inbox and be marked accordingly; for routine questions, a draft response will be generated, written in the user's own style, for the user to review before sending. GFI indicates that each decision comes with a rationale to help users take action more quickly and with greater confidence. Eloquens AI can be used in GFI KerioConnect Webmail, desktop clients, as well as Microsoft Outlook.

Customers retain control.

GFI indicates that Eloquens AI is in a disabled state by default and must be enabled by the administrator through the GFI KerioConnect management console. The emails remain on the customer's own server, and the administrator can precisely select which mailboxes to enable this assistant for, as well as disable it at any time. Users can start a 30-day free trial with just one click, without the need for sales communication or installation settings. For managed service providers (MSPs), this also represents a new service that can be offered to customers through the existing console.

ZEBR.AI CEO Zden ěk Bí nek stated: “Kerio was developed in the Czech Republic, and our partners have trusted Kerio for many years to handle customers' emails. Eloquens AI gives every partner the opportunity to offer something new tomorrow morning – to be deployed on the servers they are already managing.”

Availability

GFI indicates that the AI email automation platform Eloquens AI developed by IgniteTech in 2024 is now available to customers using GFI KerioConnect versions 10.0.9-10757 or higher, starting from today. The company also states that users can click to view demonstrations, understand how it works, and initiate a free trial.
