News from the IT Home on October 16th: China Unicom announced today that for old users who purchased genuine iPhone through Unicom channels in 2009, they will be granted the highest priority to purchase iPhone and Duo.
Relevant users can verify their identity through the Unicom official website. Once the verification result shows "Preferential Friend," they can go to the nearest Unicom Apple authorized store to purchase the device preferentially.

On the evening of October 30, 2009, China Unicom held the launch ceremony for iPhone in Beijing World Trade Center Sky Stage. The product was sold continuously on-site, and certificate with serial numbers were issued to the purchasing users. Most of the people present that day were users who had subscribed to the 3G package with the 186 number range; these individuals also became the first users of the genuine iPhone in mainland China.
According to an official Apple press release, the iPhone Duo is Apple's first foldable model. When unfolded, it features a 7.6-inch Super Retina XDR inner screen, with a display area that is 50% larger than that of the iPhone; when folded, it has a 5.4-inch Super Retina XDR outer screen, which covers approximately 90% of the display area of an iPhone. Both screens have the same aspect ratio and support proportional scaling of content. They both offer ProMotion adaptive refresh rates, all-weather display capabilities, and a maximum outdoor peak brightness of 3000 nits.
According to the technical specifications page on Apple's official Chinese website, iPhone and Duo are equipped with A20 Pro chips, which utilize a 2-nanometer manufacturing process. They come with dual 16-core neural network engines and do not have a physical SIM card slot; activation of the carrier network can only be done through eSIM.
