  • A total of $610.7 million was transferred out from the five types of accounts being tracked ETF, which is lower than the $1.29 billion from the previous week.

  • Bitcoin funds saw a net outflow of $228.4 million, despite two trading days recording net inflows.
  • Products related to Solana, Zcash, and Hyperliquid saw a total outflow of 62.2 million US dollars over five trading days.

According to the daily data of Farside Investors, Ethereum ETF saw a net outflow of $320.1 million, followed by Bitcoin funds with an outflow of $228.4 million; at the same time, products related to Solana, Zcash, and Hyperliquid also experienced declines this week.

The leakage of encrypted ETF has decreased by 52.5% compared to the previous week.

Based on calculations from the five data tables Farside, the net outflow for the week from October 5th to 9th was 1.2863 billion US dollars, and the net outflow for the most recent week has decreased by 52.5% compared to before. Although all tracked categories still show a net outflow, the outflow volumes for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Zcash have all narrowed compared to the previous period.

As previously reported by crypto.news, these five types of products saw a total outflow of $1.29 billion in the week prior. Of this, Bitcoin accounted for $678.9 million, while Ethereum products had an outflow of $542.2 million.

According to the latest daily totals summarized from the Farside database, Tuesday was the only trading day with a net inflow. On that day, the fund attracted $194.3 million in funds, following a outflow of $155.5 million on Monday.

On Wednesday, there was an outflow of $393.4 million, which was the largest single-day outflow during this statistical period. On Thursday, another outflow of $90.1 million occurred, and on Friday, the outflow amounted to $166 million.

During these five trading days, a total of $548.5 million was withdrawn from Bitcoin and Ethereum, accounting for approximately 89.8% of the total net outflow in the Farside statistics.

According to an update released by CoinShares on October 16th, during their statistical period, there was a outflow of $434 million from global digital asset investment products. This institution covers products worldwide, and the statistical cut-off time is different from the five categories of US ETF summarized in this article.

After attributing the outflow of funds in its statistics to U.S. inflation and changes in market interest rate expectations following the release of retail sales data, CoinShares noted that this judgment is applicable only to CoinShares's own dataset; Farside's data table only provides information on fund flows and does not explain the reasons for individual transactions.

Ethereum ETF outflows reached $320.1 million

As shown in the Farside table, Ethereum funds experienced net outflows on four trading days within a week, with only one day showing net inflows. In another development in the US Ethereum fund market, according to reports on October 15th, VanEck submitted documents on October 14th requesting to withdraw its proposed registration application for Lido Staked Ethereum ETF.

The documents submitted by the initiator to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission state that they 'have no intention of continuing to advance the planned issuance of these trust shares.' VanEck confirms that this registration statement has not yet taken effect, and no securities have been issued or sold based on this statement.

This file request has obtained the consent of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in accordance with Rule 477 to withdraw the relevant registration statements. This matter involves a proposed issuance that has never had shares issued, and is not related to the funds that are currently in operation in the Farside weekly cash flow statement.
