Salt Security announced that the company won three awards at the 14th InfoSec Awards held in Cyber Defense Magazine ( CDM ):

  • The most promising Agentic AI security solutions
  • Pioneering cybersecurity innovations based on AI
  • Transformative API Security Solutions

The award will be announced during the CyberDefenseCon 2026 period.

Salt Security indicates that this recognition covers two key security challenges of 2026: AI the rapid and disorderly expansion of intelligent agents, as well as the continuously expanding API attack surface in the environments where these agents operate. The report State of Agentic AI and API Security 2H 2026__, released this month, based on a survey of over 380 security and technology professionals, found that nearly half of the companies confirmed or suspected that intelligent agents had performed unauthorized operations in the past year, while less than one-fifth of the companies were able to automatically prevent out-of-control intelligent agents. The company stated that these awards reflect its efforts to narrow the gap between intelligent agent deployment and intelligent agent governance at a production scale.

Salt Security CEO Roey Eliyahu stated: "Being recognized in these three categories – agentic AI security, AI-based cybersecurity innovation, and API security – precisely reflects where current corporate risks are converging. Our research indicates that governance gaps are not just theoretical issues: agents are already acting in ways that organizations have not anticipated, and most organizations are unable to stop them in time. We are honored to be recognized as leaders in addressing this issue."

Cyber Defense Magazine Publisher Gary S. Miliefsky states: " Salt Security embodies the three main characteristics that judges are looking for, and has the potential to become a winner: understanding the threats of tomorrow, providing cost-effective solutions today, and innovating in unexpected ways to help mitigate cyber risks, while staying one step ahead of the next invasion."
