Over the past decade, I have seen firsthand how this foundation has grown to become one of the largest organizations supporting veterans, outside of the Department of Veterans Affairs ( VA ). With this success comes a real sense of responsibility, and I look forward to bringing my experience from corporate leadership and board of directors roles to help an organization that is crucial to the financial well-being of millions of Americans. Although I have just joined the board, I am not unfamiliar with this mission, and I understand what makes this foundation so special."
