NVIDIA's stock price rose nearly 2% on Wednesday, following CEO Jensen Huang's announcement on GTC Berlin of a modular AI factory solution that can be deployed within 14 days. NVIDIA stated that this solution can reduce the traditional installation period of about six months to two weeks, but it still requires external power, cooling, and network connectivity; the company has not yet disclosed specific order volumes or revenue forecasts.

Key Points

  • NVIDIA's stock price rose by nearly 2% after the release of GTC Berlin.
  • DSX POD Aims to Reduce the Deployment Time of AI Factory to 14 Days
  • Vera Rubin systems or AI computational deployments that can accelerate income generation

On Wednesday, October 21st, NVIDIA's stock price ( NVDA ) rose by nearly 2%, approaching $220.50. Previously, CEO Jensen Huang announced a modular artificial intelligence factory design that can be deployed in as fast as 14 days.

The new DSX POD system, announced on GTC Berlin, promises to reduce the installation time from about six months to two weeks, provided that the site selection is already prepared. This may help to alleviate one of the biggest bottlenecks faced by the global AI infrastructure boom.

According to NVIDIA's announcement, these prefabricated containers are integrated with computing devices, networks, cables, rack-level power supply, and liquid cooling systems before delivery, enabling operators to start running the AI workloads more quickly.

NVIDIA targets up to six months of data center latency

Traditional AI data centers require a large amount of on-site installation, testing, and infrastructure coordination. Even if a company already has available GPU, they may still face long construction periods and power supply bottlenecks.

DSX POD has transferred a large portion of the process to manufacturing facilities, where the assembly, connection, and testing of the entire system can be completed before shipment.

However, these containers still require external power supply, cooling connections, a network, and a prepared site. Therefore, the 14-day estimate does not mean that an entire data center can be built within two weeks on an undeveloped piece of land.

This architecture adopts NVIDIA's next-generation Vera Rubin platform, continuing the company's strategy from selling individual processors to providing integrated AI infrastructure.

This distinction is very important, because an improvement in chip performance does not necessarily automatically eliminate the construction and installation costs faced by customers.

AI factories may generate revenue more quickly

Jensen Huang emphasized that the AI factory will only create economic value when it begins to operate and produce workloads.

Earlier deployment may reduce the time lag between significant hardware investments and customer revenue; this is particularly important as tech companies are investing substantial funds in the AI infrastructure.

NVIDIA is collaborating with Dell Technologies, HPE, Lenovo, Schneider Electric, Vertiv, and other partners to manufacture and distribute these modular systems, with global delivery plans set to begin in early 2027.

For NVIDIA, faster installation times may help to support the next round of AI hardware cycles, especially as cloud service providers accelerate their deployment pace.

However, the company has not yet disclosed the exact order volume or revenue forecast for DSX POD, so its final financial contribution remains uncertain.

NVDA What will happen to the stock price next?

As NVIDIA's latest announcement was released, investors were weighing the strong demand for AI against the rising costs of equipment, power constraints, and the risks associated with infrastructure financing.

The recent increase in prices on the AI servers indicates that even though customers are still eager to deploy more computing power, shortages in memory and manufacturing costs may complicate expansion plans.

This opportunity also extends to the power systems, cooling, and networking sectors, where infrastructure providers may benefit from the increasing volume of deployments in these areas.

GENIUS Act News: OCC Final Rule Lifts Restrictions on Stablecoin Yields; Banking Industry Expresses Opposition
According to reporter Eleanor Terrett, the Federal Reserve Board of the United States (OCC) has finalized the final rules for GENIUS Act and has removed the previously proposed restrictions on stablecoin rewards. This decision has not resolved the dispute between banks and crypto companies regarding whether platforms can pay interest on users' stablecoin balances. The Bankers Association of America has criticized these rules, stating that they will maintain the status quo of crypto platforms; however, U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has expressed support, believing that this framework provides a clear basis for private sector innovation.
