Ripple has reached a cooperation with Arf to introduce the settlement liquidity supported by RLUSD into XRP Ledger ( XRPL ).
Arf will directly provide RLUSD settlement liquidity on XRPL. The relevant funds will usually be repaid within 1 to 5 days.
Arf CEO Ali Erhat Nalbant stated that this collaboration will bring stablecoin working capital to XRPL, helping payment companies support more transactions.
As a blockchain payment solution provider, Ripple has collaborated with the Swiss-regulated payment platform Arf to introduce funding support based on RLUSD into XRP Ledger ( XRPL ). This collaboration will help licensed payment companies obtain short-term funds for cross-border payments, without the need to retain large amounts of capital in accounts in different countries for extended periods.
Arf and Ripple join forces to accelerate cross-border payments
In a press release issued on October 22, 2026, Arf and Ripple announced a partnership to help payment companies obtain funds when and where they need them.
Cross-border payments amount to trillions of dollars each year, yet payment companies often need to prepare working capital in different countries in advance before a transaction is completed. The establishment of credit limits by traditional banks can take several months and may require the provision of substantial collateral.
This poses a problem for companies that need to obtain funds at the right time and in the right market. Through this collaboration, Arf and Ripple hope to utilize the settlement networks of RLUSD and XRP Ledger to fill this gap.
Ripple's RippleX product leader, Jasmine Cooper, stated: "Settlement liquidity is precisely the kind of use case that XRPL and RLUSD are designed to support."
In the first phase, Arf will provide short-term funds denominated in Ripple USD (RLUSD) on XRP Ledger. Licensed payment companies can use these funds for cross-border remittances and repay them after the payment is completed, with a typical repayment period of 1 to 5 days.
Arf will bring an annual settlement scale of $10 billion to XRPL.
Arf indicates that since its launch in November 2022, the annual global settlement volume of its payment platform has expanded to approximately $10 billion. The capital turnover rate is about four times a month, which means that the funds can support recurring payment flows rather than remaining idle.
Arf, co-founder and CEO, Ali Erhat Nalbant, stated that this collaboration will bring stablecoin working capital to XRP Ledger.
He stated, "We are bringing stablecoin working capital to XRP Ledger to help payment companies bridge this gap and support larger volumes of transactions."
Arf plans to use the XRPL native lending infrastructure
Once the native lending infrastructure of XRP Ledger becomes available, this collaboration could further expand. Arf plans to use the proposed Single Asset Vaults to pool capital and utilize Lending Protocol to support structured loans on the blockchain.
Arf will continue to manage underwriting and working capital decisions offline, while blockchain will be responsible for the lending infrastructure.
However, before these proposed features are launched on the mainnet, they still must go through the amendment process designated by XRPL.
