Xiaomi's first NAS product, " Xiaomi Smart Storage", went on sale on August 27 this year. According to a report from IT Home, the discount on this product at JD.com has been further increased today.

In terms of price:

• The pricing for the 4TB version is 2699 yuan, which is reduced to 2190 yuan after today's national subsidy.
• The 8TB version is priced at 3499 yuan, and today it is available at a super discounted price of 2834 yuan;
• The 16TB version is priced at 5499 yuan, and after today's national subsidy, it is 4461 yuan.

In terms of warranty, the official provides a 3-year warranty, while JD.com currently offers an additional 1-year extension and a 5-year data recovery service.

According to IT, Xiaomi's smart storage adopts a dual-drive design, supporting up to 60TB (30TB x 2). It is compatible with both 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch personal hard drives, and supports dynamic backup and dual-backup functions in dual-drive mode. It also provides 1 USB-A 3.0 interface, 1 HDMI 1.4 interface, and 1 2.5GbE network port.

According to the official page, this product is equipped with 4GB of memory and 32GB of storage, with the option for a maximum of 16TB hard drive version (Western Digital Red Drive); it uses a 6-series integrated aluminum mid-frame; and it integrates a central gateway, which triples the speed of smart home connectivity throughout the house.

In terms of functionality, this product supports AI Smart Album, which allows for automatic categorization and intelligent search; it also offers advanced experiences for Xiaomi devices, including 4-camera monitoring and storage (with a maximum retention period of 360 days), WeChat backup, and full-device backup (for HyperOS 3.0 and above versions); it supports up to 16 accounts for use.

It also supports family sharing and remote access from multiple devices, offering up to 40Mbps of free remote access bandwidth; it provides a separate App that can be accessed from phones, computers, and TVs; Xiaomi phones (with MIUI 3.0 or later) can also quickly access it through the phone's built-in file management app.

In addition, Xiaomi's smart storage also supports intelligent organization of videos and remote downloading. After adding video resources, it can intelligently identify video information based on file names, match video covers, titles, ratings, and more, and automatically generate a video poster wall; it comes with a built-in video player that supports playing various mainstream video formats, including 4K videos, external subtitles, wireless screen casting, and HDMI connections.
