Hong Kong, November 4th / PRNewswire / -- HashKey Capital and AMBR (Amber International Holding Limited, NASDAQ ticker: AMBR) announced a strategic partnership to explore the practical applications of AI agency and advanced technologies in the fields of finance and digital assets. AMBR is an agency-based AI company focused on the financial sector.

The cooperation between the two parties will combine the AI agency capabilities and financial infrastructure of AMBR, as well as the institutional investment experience and global fund management expertise of HashKey Capital. AMBR stated that this also marks another step in bringing the AI into real financial applications, opening up new opportunities for a broader range of industries.

At the exclusive reception during the Hong Kong Fintech Week Capital Next : Allocation , Reimagined, this collaboration was jointly announced on stage by AMBR founder and CEO Michael Wu and HashKey Capital CEO Deng Chao.

Exploring the Application of AI Proxy in Core Financial Workflows

According to the cooperation arrangements, both parties plan to explore the synergistic effects between the core financial work processes and the task-oriented AI system, including how to responsibly apply the AI proxy architecture to investment research, operational automation, and institutional customer service in a fast-paced market environment.

Both companies come from rapidly changing and highly demanding markets, and both have a background in applying new technologies to real financial work processes. Instead of viewing artificial intelligence merely as an additional information layer, both parties aim to explore deeper operational integrations—specifically, how AI agents can perform complex multi-step tasks. The related work will follow three principles summarized by AMBR when building their own AI agents: human supervision, clear boundaries of autonomy, and ensuring that data is always under control.

Both parties will also collaborate at the product level to provide more products and services from HashKey Capital to AMBR customers.

Common Views on the Proxy-based Future

HashKey Capital CEO Deng Chao stated: "The financial and digital assets sectors are rapidly transitioning from information-based AI to task-oriented AI agents that can operate in 24-hour, data-intensive environments. Hong Kong provides an ideal regulatory and market environment that can set high standards for secure and impactful fintech."

AMBR Founder and CEO Michael Wu stated: "The AI agents are shifting from answering questions to actually getting things done, and finance is the field that requires the most trust and has the highest barriers to entry. If AI agents are to gain trust in the financial sector, they must understand the work processes, operate within clear boundaries, and always be under human supervision. This is how AMBR is built, and HashKey Capital is the ideal partner to bring this model into institutional investment."

Both parties stated that this collaboration marks an early strategic engagement of HashKey Capital with AI's proxy technology, and it is also the first major cooperation announced by AMBR after completing its business transformation. Both companies regard this announcement as a preliminary milestone and look forward to sharing more progress as the joint project progresses.

Jefferies: Tether Reduced gold reserves slightly in the third quarter, ending the previous continuous upward trend
A research report released on November 3 by Jefferies stated that the world's largest stablecoin issuer, Tether, reduced its gold holdings from approximately 168 tons to about 165 tons in the third quarter of 2026, marking the first decline on a quarterly basis in recent times. The report indicated that the reduction came entirely from a shrinkage in the gold holdings within USDT's reserves, while the gold reserves corresponding to XAU ₮ remained unchanged; despite the relatively stable supply volume of USDT, Tether's holdings of Bitcoin and other investment assets increased at the end of the period. However, the disclosed information did not indicate whether the gold was directly converted into these assets.
