Dubai, United Arab Emirates, November 6th / PRNewswire / -- Robo.ai Inc. (Nasdaq ticker: AIIO) (hereinafter referred to as “Robo.ai” or “the Company”) today released a letter from its Chief Executive Officer Benjamin Zhai to shareholders, which covers the company's recent financial performance, capital allocation methods, and key priorities for the next phase.

To Shareholders:

The shares of Robo.ai will begin trading on NASDAQ on November 6th at the adjusted price following a stock split. I would like to take this opportunity to report on three things: what we have accomplished over the past few months; what our focus will be in the next steps to solidify the company's position as a leading sovereign AI and technology platform in the United Arab Emirates and the broader Gulf region; and why I am so confident about the company's future.

At the midpoint of the year, we had only one priority: to rapidly expand our business scale. Today, the results are reflected in the data. Revenue from June to September exceeded 280 million dollars. In October, we announced our revenue forecast for the entire year of 2026, which is approximately 600 million dollars. This scale has laid a solid foundation for the next phase and also gives us a clear understanding of the direction we need to move forward in.

The costs of chips and storage remain high, yet public safety, transportation, energy, and municipal services generate vast amounts of visual data every day. Whoever can process the same amount of data with less computing power and storage has a cost advantage. That's exactly what our AI data processing company, Neurovia AI, does: making the transmission, storage, and use of visual data more efficient. Neurovia AI will showcase its latest solutions at the GITEX Global exhibition to be held in Dubai from December 7th to 11th.

Our industrial group ALIF Holding is building local manufacturing and system integration capabilities in the United Arab Emirates. The first phase of its project, located in the Um Ghaif Industrial Park, commenced on September 25th. The proposed ALIF Maritec oil spill emergency response system concept and the ALIF Composites project have clarified the product direction for this industrial park. The Abu Dhabi government's digital strategy for 2025 to 2027, as well as the support for local manufacturing under the " Make it in the Emirates " initiative, provide a clear policy framework for these businesses.

In the next phase, we will focus on three key areas. Within our existing business, we will continue to strictly control delivery costs, cash collection, and operational efficiency in order to improve business quality. Neurovia AI will advance product development and commercialization. ALIF Holding will accelerate production preparation and customer development. In terms of capital, we will allocate funds according to business progress, giving priority to the most critical areas, and ensure that every dollar invested is aligned with our business plan.

Regarding financing: Based on our current operating conditions and financing arrangements, for a period of time after the date of this letter, we do not intend to enter into new equity-linked, floating-price financing arrangements, that is, arrangements where the issue price or conversion price is linked to the company's future stock price. We will continue to fulfill our existing obligations and retain the rights under the previously disclosed agreements. We will support our business through prudent capital management, with the goal of creating long-term value for shareholders.

We firmly believe that long-term value comes from the business itself. Our task is clear: to serve our customers well, to refine our products, and to build each of our businesses on a solid foundation. I am full of confidence in the future of Robo.ai. This confidence stems from the strong support of the board of directors, the efforts of the management and operations team over the past year and more, as well as the recognition our customers have given to our products and solutions. From now on, our quarterly results will speak for us. Thank you for your continued trust and support.

Benjamin Zhai

The Truth About Car Companies' In-house Battery Development: Not Manufacturing Cells, So What Are They Really Competing Over?
Focusing on power batteries, a core component of new energy vehicles, the competition between vehicle manufacturers and battery companies continues to intensify. Companies such as Li Auto, Xiaomi, Leapmotor, and Xpeng have recently made a big deal out of their commitment to "in-house battery development," but most of them do not engage in cell manufacturing themselves. Instead, they focus on battery pack design, participate in cell research and development, and form deep ties with battery manufacturers through contract manufacturing, joint production lines, or capital investments. Several interviewees believe that what car companies are competing for is not the full manufacturing chain from ore to battery cells, but rather the right to define batteries, the authority to integrate systems, responsibility for quality, and the ability to iterate data. Cost reduction is merely a result; supply chain security, bargaining power, and product differentiation are the more fundamental motivations at play.
