Vitalik: EIP-8141 Transaction type is preparing for Ethereum decentralized scaling

According to CoinMeta, on platform X, EIP-8141 transaction types are optimized by distinguishing between “actions” and “dependencies” within the transactions. Signatures, Merkle proofs, and zk-SNARK or STARK are considered dependencies, while calls that send ETH are classified as actions. Dependencies can be processed in parallel; those that involve state changes are handled by a memory pool, while pure dependencies are replaced by STARK proofs. Ethereum’s scalability expansion requires distinguishing between dynamically flexible components and those that can be statically analyzed. The latter are lower in gas cost, and over 90% of Ethereum activities do not require dynamic flexibility. EIP-8141 transaction types are evolving towards a more general and streamlined list of calls, with new state types, recursive STARK, memory pool management, and key-controlled nonce all falling within this direction.
