According to CoinMeta, as the Ethereum L2 network expands, 94% of Ethereum transactions have shifted off-chain, and DEFI assets have performed better than those in the main markets. Ethereum's overall ecosystem has become one of the strongest growth points in the crypto market, with L2 and DEFI tokens standing out when network activity reached significant milestones. Trader Daan Crypto noted that over the past week, Ethereum, L2, and DEFI led the performance in the main crypto sectors. The latest data shows that Ethereum's L2 network processes about 29.95 million transactions per day, whereas the Ethereum mainnet only handles 1.97 million; the computational throughput of the L2 network accounts for 97% of the total Ethereum ecosystem. The value of Base is approximately $14.51 billion, accounting for 41% of Ethereum's L2 total value. In the past 30 days, Ethereum L2 has processed about 337 million DEFI transactions, which represents 99% of Ethereum's L1 and L2 DEFI transaction activity. Although capital is still concentrated on the Ethereum mainnet, Ethereum L1 holds about $162 billion in stablecoins, while L2 holds only about $12 billion. The current trading price of ETH is near $2,500, up from $2,390 earlier this week.
