SBI New Trust Bank Invests Yen Stablecoin Reserves in Short-Term Government Bonds

According to CoinMeta, and as announced by the official statement of SBI Holdings, SBI's new trust bank has begun investing a portion of its reserves of the Japanese yen stablecoin JPYS in short-term Japanese government bonds, with the initial scale being 1 billion yen. As of September 7th, the issuance balance of JPYS was approximately 20.1 billion yen, and an additional 6.9 billion yen was involved in the JPYS lending under SBI VC Trade. The total scale amounts to about 27 billion yen.
