According to CoinMeta, the cross-chain transfer protocol CCTP has added support for a quick transfer prepaid fee function. Developers can pre-quote and charge a fee using the native gas tokens or USDC on the source chain before executing the transfer, ensuring that users receive the expected amount of USDC. This feature is already supported for all EVM chain transfers covered by CCTP, but not yet for transfers originating from Solana. However, transfers to Solana are supported.
