According to CoinMeta, Wu said that he learned that Gemini Digital Payments Singapore, a subsidiary of the cryptocurrency exchange Gemini, announced that it has officially obtained a large-scale payment institution license issued by the Singapore Financial Markets Authority (MAS). Cameron Winklevoss, co-founder and president of Gemini, and CEO Tyler Winklevoss stated that the approval of this license verifies the team's long-term commitment and investment in the Singapore market. Currently, Gemini provides regulated digital asset spot trading, asset custody, and over-the-counter (OTC) trading services for retail and institutional customers in Singapore.
