CoinMeta data: Goldman Sachs expects the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates again in October, a shift that contrasts sharply with previous expectations of a rate hike in September. On Wednesday, the Fed raised interest rates by 25 basis points to the target range of 3.75%-4.00%. According to the latest interest rate forecasts, most policymakers expect at least one more rate hike this year. Fed Chairman Kevin Warsh stated in a post-meeting press conference that inflation is still “too high,” and this rate hike only eliminated “some of the looseness,” implying that policy is not yet tight enough, and there may be more rate hikes in the future. Currently, traders estimate that the probability of another 25 basis point hike in October is slightly over 50%. Bitcoin is currently trading at around $76,260, up 0.5% within 24 hours.
