According to CoinMeta, as reported by Bloomberg, Thai Energy Minister Akkanat Prompan stated that the disruption in crude oil supply has prompted Thailand, like many other countries, to accelerate its energy transition. He added that since the start of the war, Thailand has diversified its oil supply, reducing its dependence on Middle Eastern suppliers from around 60% before the crisis to less than 30%. He made these remarks exclusively in Bloomberg's "Haslinda Amin Insights" program.
