According to CoinMeta, Liquid Network has released a security update, and network block generation as well as on-chain transactions are functioning normally. However, the redemption operations for peg-out are still suspended, as efforts are being made with alliance members to advance a security recovery plan. Of the approximately 4,000 BTC that were stolen in the incident, about 3,400 have been returned to the alliance's reserves, with around 600 BTC still unrecouped. Once it is confirmed that the LBTC has been restored to a 1:1 BTC anchoring ratio, the software update has been completed, and an independent security review has been conducted, the official will restart the peg-out redemption process and announce the details of the plan.
