According to CoinMeta, Ethereum developers have confirmed that glamsterdam will undergo public testing on the sepolia testnet on October 6th. They have warned that attackers could take advantage of the free testing and the ability to repeatedly create builder identities to continuously win in block bidding, then refuse to provide transaction payloads, thereby affecting the testing process. However, this would not pose a risk to funds on the mainnet. The client team is required to release software compatible with sepolia by September 29th, with only 7 days for security review. The hoodi testing is scheduled for October 27th, while the mainnet activation date has not yet been determined.
