According to CoinMeta, JPMorgan Chase has over $3 trillion in transactions on the blockchain platform, while Citibank processes billions of dollars in cross-border payments daily. However, neither institution's tokenization projects are aimed at ordinary depositors. The founder of Monument Bank stated that current tokenization projects are mostly for internal use and have not yet had a substantial impact on the banking system or consumers. Lynq Network CEO Jerald David pointed out that fragmented infrastructure, legacy architectural limitations, and concerns about data security lead to low capital efficiency for institutions and prevent funds from being mobilized when needed.
