The fraudsters used the stolen debit cards to make illegal withdrawals and place bets on their US platform. The report indicates that the criminals linked the stolen cards to thousands of Polymarket US accounts for fund transfers. This incident led to a reexamination of Polymarket, and CEO Shayne Coplan's response shocked some employees, demonstrating the gambling app's determination in pursuing growth.
