According to CoinMeta, as reported by DeItaone, in August, the core PCE decreased year-on-year to 3.0%, lower than the expected 3.3%, while the overall PCE was 3.4%, also below the expected 3.7%. The GDP for the second quarter was also raised to 2.2%, from 1.5% previously. Currently, the probability of the Federal Reserve not raising interest rates in October is estimated at 65%, while the probability of a 25-basis-point rate hike is 31%.
