According to CoinMeta, Tesla's planned solar factory in Texas has recently become involved in a U.S. patent lawsuit, with two Chinese solar equipment manufacturers as the parties involved. Linton Crystal Technologies is a company located in Rochester, New York, and is entirely owned by Linton from Dalian, China. It has filed a lawsuit against Zhejiang Jingsheng in the Texas Federal Court. Industry reports indicate that Jingsheng received an order from Tesla earlier this year worth approximately 3 billion yuan (about $420 million) for crystal pulling equipment.
