CoinMeta data: Bitget CEO Gracy Chen expressed a pessimistic view on whether the company can recover the $388 million that was stolen. The pessimism of Chen was reinforced in the recovery update released by the Drift protocol, which, more than six months after the attack, has still not been able to retrieve most of the stolen funds. Currently, these funds are still being laundered through Tornado Cash. The Drift foundation reiterated its commitment to recover approximately $295 million of the stolen funds through freezing, offering rewards, or other methods. Although Drift has been working hard to recover the funds, the lack of results so far has led to low morale. The loss is estimated at $285 million, which is more than 50% of the total value of Drift.
