Michael Saylor: Reasons for Supporting Competitor Strive
2026-10-01 07:23:49
CoinMeta data: MicroStrategy's Executive Chairman Michael Saylor stated that he wishes his competitor Strive success, and elaborated on this view in a Wednesday article. Strive is a smaller company that is also purchasing Bitcoin (BTC). MicroStrategy holds more Bitcoins than any other publicly traded company, making Saylor's support for its competitor rather unusual. Saylor believes that the success of Strive will strengthen the strategic relationship between the two companies, as both follow the same business model of raising funds from investors to purchase Bitcoin. MicroStrategy currently holds 847,666 BTC, while Strive ranks fifth among public holders, with 27,462 BTC. Saylor pointed out that every time Strive purchases one Bitcoin, it increases the demand for this fixed-supply asset, thereby enhancing the value of the assets held by both companies.
